It is important to bring a physical copy of your government issued ID (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport) as we are unable to perform any piercing services without it. Additionally, it is important to bring any reference or inspiration photos to show your piercer if you have a specific placement or jewelry request in mind.
We also recommend dressing in comfortable clothing that allows our piercers to easily access the area you are looking to have pierced if it is an area that is typically covered by clothing such as a navel or nipples.
While we do keep water and small snacks available in case of a fainting incident, we recommend clients bring a bottle of water with them and make sure to eat ahead of their piercing appointment.
If you are prone to fainting, please make sure to eat something light ahead of your appointment, drink water, and inform your piercer that you are prone to fainting.
Avoid consuming alcohol, caffeine or other drugs for 24 hours ahead of your appointment as these can all increase bleeding.
We pierce earlobes starting at age 5 years old. For a full list of age restrictions please visit our Services Menu page.
For all piercings performed on Minors we do require the child's parent or legal guardian to be present with a valid form of government issued ID for themselves and either a government issued ID or birth certificate for the minor. When applicable, we also require guardianship documentation as well.
No, we do not use any numbing agents before piercing. Numbing agents can have an irritating effect on the skin potentially causing rash and/or swelling, which impacts our piercers ability to accurately mark or even pierce the tissue. Additionally, topical numbing agents will only effect the outer layer of tissue while the piercing will go through all layers of tissue, making them essentially ineffective.
